    Question,

Has anyone ever used a crystal-sync Camera that runs at 25FPS and not as 24?

I know this is the norm in the UK and Europe but how much of a problem is it if your shooting in the states? And if it is a real problem is their any way of avoiding it
without coughing over any extra bucks( like a new Toban motor..err)

I have a camera that can shoot at 25fps. It is not S8 however. As for the issues with trying to sort out any "problems"--It all depends on what you are going to be doing with the film once you have it shot. If you have a print made to be shown in a theater then it won't matter--I would guess that no one can truly tell the differance in pitch that one frame per second makes.

If you are going to video without synch then it won't really make any differance either(It will be slowed to 23.97 in both cases for NTSC video).

The place it will make a differance is if you try to shoot film@25--Then expect to go to NTSC and keep synch. You can go to PAL or SECAM without problems.

I hope that helps good Luck
